So it's been a while since the last update and that's because I've been super busy implementing features for Captain Spice: Rise of Dr. Stink!
Here's a list of SOME of the new features we now have working.
Animated 3D Models that feature
- Smooth Skin Instancing.
- Animation Clips Stored as Textures
- Bone (skeletons) and weighting also stored as Textures
- A Star Pathfinding
- AI with "Sense of" hearing and Sight
- SunBurn Lighting
- Texture Map based collision detection for static level objects
- Physics Based movement for enemies
So Cavets. . . This is EARLY EARLY EARLY stuff, think not even Beta Version,
More like ALPHA Version 0.001 so don't worry that stuff doesn't look all that
great yet, this is just a demo of the Tech not the Art!
Also, One Final note, I recorded this with my video camera pointed at my
computer monitor because I don't currently have a video card capable of
capturing straight from my Xbox and that's what this game is being run on.
So I appologize for the crappy video, I'll try and do better next time! :)
